Lamberts N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) is a one to two-a-day formula that provides 300mg of NAC per capsule. Made in the UK and produced in premises that operate to stringent pharmaceutical standards of GMP.
NAC is an altered form of the amino acid L-Cysteine and is the preferred version for supplementation due to its stability. It is one of the few amino acids to contain sulphur. Consequently, NAC has strong sulphur like odour, which is completely normal.
While L-cysteine is naturally found in high-protein foods such as chicken, yogurt, cheese, and eggs, individuals on restricted diets may find it challenging to obtain sufficient amounts of this crucial amino acid through their diet.
